This is a very detailed model that has been converted to be used in FG. So for now there is a persistent GUI choice that defaults to "low detail" as well as a GUI choice for the Mylar skin (version 2 of the original SUMPAC) which also defaults to off. There are still more interior controls mesh to be added to the model.

SUMPAC

SUMPAC aircraft

The SUMPAC (Southampton University Man Powered Aircraft) has been added to FGADDON. This model is to be used in the FlightGear based simulation being installed at the Solent Sky museum in Southampton England. Currently they are using the DaSH as the model for the SUMPAC. It will be switched out for this one once we have all the mesh detail included and a few other bits of code added. The current FDM is the same as the DaSH but we hope to have a new SUMPAC FDM within a month or two. Another project in the works is a more detailed model of the DaSH to be used in our current DaSH project.
