The Douglas A-26 Invader (B-26 between 1948–1965) was a United States twin-engined light attack bomber built by the Douglas Aircraft Co. during World War II. It must be differentiated from the Martin B-26 Maurader, which was a medium bomber with an earlier design, totally different from the A-26.

History

The A-26 was in service around the world from World War Two until the 1980s, when the Colombian Air Force finally retired their A-26s.
