2009 Work in Progress
April: Cleanup of Feature Requests, Proposals and Todo items
I am cleaning up FGFS Todo and Feature Requests / Proposals / Ideas by moving items to dedicated new pages according of the relevant domains, all pages are now listed in a new category named "code cleanup" for the time being (this may however be subject to change later on).
April: Creation of new Portal:3D Modeling
Created a new portal dedicated to just 3D modeling in general, this will not be specific to modeling aircraft or scenery, but instead generally contain resources on 3D modeling, such as lists of software, tutorials, online courses etc.
April: Creation of new Portal:Flying
Created a new portal dedicated to housing flying related resources that are not necessarily related or specific to FlightGear. This will be mostly a place for flight simulation related tutorials. The flying portal will eventually have 2 sub portals named "Helicopters" and "Airplanes" to help better categorize resources. Additional categories such as "light than air" or "Unpowered" will also be considered.
April: Workflow oriented reordering for portal topics
Reordering topics according to the likely workflow for each portal (i.e. introductions, FAQs, resources, howtos etc).
