This is based on a discussion that took place at the end of March 2009 on the FlightGear forums, where some users pointed out that it isn't very straightforward for new users to pick aircraft with good Flight Dynamics models, hopefully this will eventually provide a place for all aircraft that already have a fairly well-done FDM configuration.

Please note that this is only meant to be about the standard flight envelope of each aircraft, nothing fancy.

If an aircraft's flight dynamics model can generally be considered to be pretty good, the corresponding aircraft should be provided with the "Good FDM" attribute, so that new users can more easily search and find such aircraft.

Also, note that this page would basically become redundant, once an aircraft's completion status and its feature support are individually tracked in aircraft-specific XML files, as discussed in Formalizing Aircraft Status
