Hi fellow wiki editors!

To help newly registered users get more familiar with the wiki (and maybe older users too) there is now a {{Welcome to the wiki}} template. Have a look at it and feel free to add it to new users discussion pages (and perhaps your own).

I have tried to keep the template short, but meaningful. /Johan G

Welcome to the wiki

Hi and welcome to the wiki! :-D

If you have not done that, skim through some of the help pages. There is also a style manual, but it is a lot of reading.

I did some minor changes to your turbulence article (diff). Nothing serious.

  • Who have added what is visible in the revision history, so you do not need to manually add your name to the article.
  • Having a first section above the table of contents (in essence without its own heading) that briefly explains the article will help a reader to faster find out if he/she have arrived where intended.
  • Adding a suitable category and linking to the article from other articles (for example Weather) will make it easier to find or stumble upon.

Good start, I hope to see more coming.
