The Riesa-Göhlis airfield is situated about two kilometers east of the center of Riesa in Saxony at an elevation of 322ft/98m. Riesa has a 1.000m long asphalt runway and a 600m long grass runway. Both runways have an orientation of 300°/120° and are located directly behind the other. The airfield is designed for helicopters, ultra light aircraft, glider and motor glider, skydivers, airships, balloons and aircraft up to a permissible maximum weight of 5.700kg. A special feature of the airfield is the public street between the airfield and the runway. Aircraft have to cross the street at an automatic traffic lights.

On the left beside the Flight Control there is a hangar for light aircrafts. Here you can start your engine too.

This is the upstream apron just before the entry door next to the wooden fence. Here you have parking positions too.

Entry Door

The automatic entry door is open from sunrise to sunset. Outside the opening times the entry door is closed and you can open the door for a moment by clicking.

The development of modeling the airport buildings started 2014. Since the beginning of 2015 the scenery is available via TerraSync.

For Riesa-Göhlis this package contains airport dates for ground network, runway usage and tower view point. Note: the start-up positions are not usable in-sim (no apt.dat update)
