The SZD-9bis Bocian-1E is a modified version of the Polish glider or sail-plane SZD-9 Bocian, including straight wing-tips, a two part canopy and shock absorbing gear. It was first produced in 1967.

Handling notes

Unlike most other glider aircraft in FG, in the bocian "full throttle" equals airbrake fully out and "idle throttle" equals closed airbrakes.
